Miss Harlem Shake 2014: Ijeoma Kola (ex Eboh) , Ph. D. @ijeomakola is a historian of race and medicine, digital content creator, and a champion for Black women's health, education and empowerment. Dr. Kola earned her Ph.D. in public health at Columbia University in New York. After marrying at a traditional African ceremony, Ijeoma lived in Lagos, Nigeria for several years, before moving to South Bend, Indiana, where she currently teaches at University of Notre Dame and presides over Cohort Sistas, a non-profit supporting Black women pursuing research doctorates, of which she is a founder.
